Drop-in Class:
      Drop in to any class on the schedule. Please arrive at the studio a few minutes early to register.
 
Workshops:
      Presented by our instructors, or by guest-instructors, these 2-hour classes will be held each week on a variety of topics. Pre-registration preferred, but not required.
 
8-week Session:
      Each of our weekly classes runs for an 8-week session. Pre-register for the entire session and receive a discount off our regular drop-in rate: $96/session is $12/class versus $15/class for drop-in.
 
10-class (or 20-class) Package:
      A pre-paid pass which can be used to drop-in ten (or twenty) times to any class on our schedule, except for workshops. You can also use your pass to bring a guest with you. Expires three months after date purchased.
 
Therapeutic Yoga (by appt):
      Therapeutic yoga uses modified yoga poses and props to facilitate healing due to injury or illness. Poses are individualized for your specific needs.Together with breath exercises and relaxation techniques, you’ll learn how to realign your body, mind and spirit to relieve pain and increase mobility.
 
Private Lessons (by appt):
      Get individual attention to help you build your personal practice with more in-depth instruction, or participate in a structured work-out tailored to your personal needs.
 
Class Descriptions
 
Sunrise Yoga:
      Early-morning class to help you rise and shine. Concentrates on Sun Salutations and other sequences which build your energy levels to carry you through the day.
 
Kids Yoga:
      Fun and stimulating classes which explore yoga poses appropriate for the age of each child.
 
Moderate Yoga:
      Classes begin and end with stretching, breath awareness and meditation or relaxation. Standing poses and inversions add strength, endurance and balance with an emphasis on correct alignment. Modifications and props are used so that poses can be adapted to individual needs.
 
Gentle Yoga:
      This class focuses on yoga fundamentals with a slower pace. It is especially appropriate for anyone recovering from an injury, living with an illness or health condition, or for those with limited mobility due to age or weight. Modifications and props are used so that poses can be adapted to individual needs.
 
Restorative Yoga:
      Restorative Yoga is a practice that helps to promote deep relaxation of the body and mind. Postures are done in a supported manner to minimize strain and maximize opening. Breath awareness and breathing exercises are used to calm the mind and reduce stress.
 
Mat Pilates:
      A multi-level mat pilates class which focuses on building core strength.
 
Vinyasa Yoga:
      Vinyasa flow is a challenging and invigorating practice which develops strength and flexibility. Linking the movement from pose to pose with the breath, each class is a carefully designed sequence of yoga poses which calm the mind and focus awareness on the body.
 
Yogilates:
      A fusion of Yoga and Pilates. This class combines yoga poses for stretching and alignment with pilates moves which concentrate on strengthening your core muscles. Gives you the best of both in one workout.
 
ZUMBA!:
      ZUMBA! uses a mix of Latin and international music to create a dynamic, fun and effective cardio workout. The class is designed to utilize an interval training format, combining various rhythms with movements that tone and sculpt the body.
 
Intro To Yoga:
      A Beginner's Level class which teaches the basic poses, importance of breathing and concentration, and helps the student develop their own practice.
 
Level I Yoga:
      A Beginner's Level class for students with some yoga experience. This class will still cover the basic poses from "Intro to Yoga", and will introduce new poses and sequences.
 
Level I-II Yoga:
      A multi-level class which focuses on linking the breath with the flow of poses, and also concentrates on proper form and alignment. This class will introduce some more advanced poses not presented during the Beginner's level classes.
 
Mommy and Baby (2mo to 12mo):
      A way for mom to exercise while bonding with baby. Incorporates “pairs” yoga poses with infant massage and other bonding activities.
 
Pre-Natal Yoga:
      Designed specifically to ease the discomforts of pregnancy. Helps strengthen the uterus and pelvic muscles, improve circulation, aid in digestion, exercise the spine and increase overall comfort.
